The Collected Boone the Driver Tweets

Boone the Driver is one of Twitter’s unwitting stars. Every week or so, Caissie St. Onge would tweet about her driver, Boone. That is, until this week, when she announced that her company changed car services, and Boone would no longer be her driver.

If you’ve never heard of Boone, you probably don’t understand what a shame this is. So to help you fully understand, I’ve collected all the Boone tweets into one big post. I mostly culled them from Caissie’s twitter and from Google’s Realtime Search.

And for those who don’t know, Caissie is a writer. She has a tumblr that has some amazing stories. She writes for TV (Best Week Ever with Paul F. Tompkins, The Rosie O’Donnell Show, Watch What Happens Live), and has even written a young adult novel, Worst Vampire Ever.

I don’t know. Why doesn’t someone make an actual joke, and then we’ll find out? Saying “Electric cars are gay” is not a joke. It’s just using the word “gay” as a pejorative. It’s dumb and it’s lazy, and if it’s what you have to stoop to in order to sell a movie, then we should be watching for an epidemic of comedy-writer suicides.
